Introduction to animal breeding principles and nutrition. Emphasis is placed on improving population genetic potential and modes of genetic transmission. Provided is the importance of feed intake, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, minerals & vitamins in livestock nutrition. Students are exposed to the basics of livestock ration balancing.

Outreach Activities

Head coach of 涩里番鈥檚 Woods(wo)men team.

Ms La Salle has worked on various types of farms (dairy, swine) and as an agronomist in cash crop productions for an Agroenvironmental Club. She has also thought cash crop courses at the professional level at Beauharnois鈥� Centre des Moissons and animal nutrition courses at St-Jean-sur-Richelieu鈥檚 Cegep. In addition, she is the co-owner of an agro-touristic farm producing Christmas trees and blueberries.
