CJNR (Canadian Journal of Nursing Research) is an international peer-reviewed journal established and formerly published by the Ingram School of Nursing. Since 2016, the journal has been published by SAGE Publishing.Ìý CJNR is dedicated to scholarship in nursing and health care.The first issue ofÌýCJNRÌýwas published in 1969 asÌýNursing Papers/Perspectives en nursingÌýby Dr. Moyra Allen of the School of Nursing, ɬÀï·¬, for the purpose of exchanging ideas related to nursing research and education.
In 1985, it was renamed theÌýCanadian Journal of Nursing Research/Revue canadienne de recherche en sciences infirimières, later shortened to the CJNR.ÌýLaurie Gottlieb, who served as editor for 22 years,Ìý completely redesigned the CJNR, bringing on board leading thinkers as guest editors and covering new trends in nursing research, nursing and health care.
